I hated Groove when I was first introduced to it!  It brought up so many emotions, especially anger, but I sensed there was an opportunity for healing so I stuck with it.  And then there was this moment when I felt the freedom I used to feel dancing as a kid.  I had longed for that connection to dance again but had never felt it with other things like Zumba, etc. It has been a journey of accepting myself and my body where I'm at right now.  Sometimes it's been hard, especially putting myself out there to be a facilitator, but I believe that Groove is an amazing avenue for healing, for giving ourselves permission to dance, and to feel the joy of moving in our body.  Everyone has that opp
