This Isn’t Just Any Training
This isn’t just any training. It’s a life enhancing transformation.
Get certified to lead powerful, inclusive, soul-shaking Groove dance floor classes.
This 4 month training consists of 2 Phases:
Phase 1
One month of online group training calls paired with practice partners. Or 2 weeks of online group training followed by one full day of in person practical application and continuing education.
Phase 2
3 additional months of small group mentorship to launch your journey with confidence.
You’ll shake your bootie into the Groove Dance Method philosophy and develop the skills to guide your community in simple, UNITED movements—where everyone gets to be unapologetically UNIQUE. With the tools, practice, support, and structure we provide, you’ll be ready to grow your own Groove community, in person or online, one class at a time.
What You’ll Learn
• How to lead easy, unifying movements that make everyone feel successful
• Language that creates structure while inspiring freedom, self-expression, and creativity
• How to create a dynamic, feel-good dance experience that strengthens the body, connects the group, and frees individual expression.
• How to launch your first class and begin to build your local Groove community
What You’ll Need
• It is ideal to participate in this training with a computer, not a tablet or phone.
• A subscription to a music source like Spotify and Apple Music is the easiest option. (you do not want Ads to play during your class)
• We suggest attending the training with bluetooth headphones so you can clearly hear the music and instruction, as well as, lead your own instruction with clarity and confidence.

• 4 Live Zoom Trainings with your Master Trainer Team
• Pre-course, pre-training and weekly module training video tutorials
• Fun interactive partner practice and homework assignments throughout the course.
• Groove Dance Facilitator Training Manual (editable PDF format)
• Free 3 month Groove license to access the Groove Academy

To Become Certified
6 Class Practicum Requirement + Ongoing Active License
All Groove facilitators will first complete 6 practice classes in your community (preferred) or online. You will then submit one full class video for review along with a feedback form. After review and successful passing, you will need to maintain and hold an active Groove license.
The Groove Method is a Licensed Program
Once certified as a Groove facilitator, you will be required to maintain an active annual license giving you permission to lead Groove classes in your area and providing you with continued access to the full online video tutorial resource library. This also entitles you to discounts to continuing education, workshops and Groove retreats!
The annual Groove Facilitator license is currently $260/year or $25/month.
